Hello everyone. It is all about statement sleeves with my friends at ‘Style Not Age’. I searched my wardrobe and found nothing of interest there. There were no statement sleeves that impressed me. So, I had to go shopping. And I found this lovely shirt from ‘Studio 124‘ in Malahide with fabulous full sleeves and lovely stitching.
Anyway, I paired them with a pair of jeans from Next that are about five years old. The shirt is from Penneys/Primark, also several years old. Boots (ancient) are Carl Scarpa and the hat is borrowed from GG. Bag is Zara (old) and sunnies are F&F at Tesco.
So double denim it is. I know I look like I am ready to do some line-dancing. Don’t judge me. I actually quite like it and cut quite a dash crossing the road during the week. If a film crew comes looking for an extra for a modern western, I am all set! Just need my horse!
My friends in ‘Style Not Age’ really rose to the challenge.
THE STYLE SPLASH
Sale-savvy Emma’s top is from River Island. Already on sale, she got an extra discount because it had a mark on it (which came out in the wash). So it was only £5! Her trousers are part of a suit from Monki and the pink neon sandals are from Asos. The fabulous bag is by Nali (from TKMaxx). Emma also chose the challenge this month. Check her out at Style Splash.
IS THIS MUTTON
Gail is wearing one of her favourite colours and how well it suits her too. The lilac blouse is from River Island and we are really talking statement sleeves here. My goodness, they are magnificent. And I love how she has paired them with purple trousers from Robell. You can learn more at Is This Mutton.
MUMMABSTYLISH
Jacqui has paired her lovely top from Bonmarche with grey trousers from Next. How flattering are the fluted sleeves? And how wonderfully stylish is the entire outfit. See more at Mummabstylish.
ANNA’S ISLAND STYLE
Another wonderful top from Anna whose statement sleeves have a lovely pleated effect. She looks very happy enjoying the sun in Tresco. Anna’s top is a charity shop find, her jeans are from Tesco and her sandals are a TK Maxx bargain. Learn more at annasislandstyle.

I agree Michele I am not a fan of some that would dangle in the gravy though and I have had some of those.
Very stylish Hilda, loving the addition of Graham’s hat. The pleating on your sleeves is so complex! I would love e to browse this boutique.
