We are nearly in May and to date have seen very little sunshine this year. March was the wettest month on record and we had great hopes for April. Though we had a week of sunny days and some were actually warm, it did not last long. April showers are back again. Emma came up with this month’s theme of ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ and how apt it is.
Somehow everything seems better in sunshine. We know it improves our mood and enhances our sense of wellbeing.
Now have you heard of the brand Never Fully Dressed? My daughter loves it and when I saw this co-ord two-piece in her wardrobe I asked if I could borrow it. It screams sunshine. The mood-enhancing bright colours gave me a spring in my step.
I am also super-impressed with the quality of the fabric. It is not flimsy and hangs beautifully. And the print is so vibrant and colourful. Of course, the top and wide legged trousers would work wonderfully as separates too.
I immediately went online to look up the label. And I am in love. I discovered that the founder, Lucy Aylen, started manufacturing clothing from her parents’ attic and then sold pieces at London markets.
Recognised for its signature prints, wrap dresses, multi-wear styles and affordable price points, Never Fully Dressed has amassed a huge following worldwide. International shipping is free, by the way.
Go look at the website. You will find it difficult not to purchase.
MY ‘STYLE NOT AGE’ FRIENDS
Emma who gave us this wonderful theme is sunshine personified in a beautiful yellow dress. Loving the accessories, too. Pop on over to The Style Splash to learn more.
Gail has gone with sunshine colours yellow and orange, but still wrapped up quite warm as she said the long hot days seem a long way off! You can find out more on Is Ths Mutton.
Anna has gone for a wonderful pink trouser suit and reminds me of the colours of a rising or setting sun. Looks like she found a sunny day for her pic. All the details can be found over on Anna’s Island Style.
And even though there was no sun when Jacqui took her photo, she brought her own sunshine in another gorgeous yellow dress. And Jacqui can be found at Mumma B Stylish.
So bring me sunshine in May…
Thanks for reading my friends.

I think you should keep the outfit and not return it to the daughter🤣
First, love your challenge! Bright fun colors can instantly lift my mood.
Second, I hope you get sun soon!! I remember living in an area where the sun hid for months at a time…that was hard.
Love your daughters outfit!!
