Prai Neck and Decolletage Products Pack a Punch

Have you heard of the beauty brand Prai (rhymes with Thai, by the way)?  A global skincare brand, it is the leading beauty offering at Marks & Spencer. And I was first introduced to it this summer when I was invited to the launch of their latest product.

Their hero products are their neck and décolletage creams.

Prai Christmas products

We all know that the neck can be the first area you show your age, particularly if you have been negligent in applying sun screen and moisturiser over the years. In fact, it is said that the skin on our necks ages faster than the skin on our faces.

Add to that the time that many of us spend looking down at laptops and phones, we are creating what is known as ‘tech neck.’ The 45-degree angle that you hang your head to look at your cell phone causes a repeated squishing of the neck, resulting in premature folds and wrinkles. And, of course, how you sleep also can do more damage. Ugh!

Prai Ageless Throat & Decolletage Creme

Prai Ageless Throat & Decolletage Creme

The cream has a lightweight formula and it works to restore elasticity and firmness in this thinner skin on the throat and chest areas. It feels lovely and includes ingredients such as Sepilift to restore elasticity and help with collagen production. It also claims that you will see a difference in just 7 days. It certainly seems to plump the skin and lines are less noticeable.

Seemingly one is sold every minute – over 60 million sold to date – with repeat customers so that says a lot.

Prai Ageless Throat & Decolletage Night Creme

Prai Ageless Throat & Decolletage Creme

It claims to renew and repair skin while you sleep. Love anything that works while you sleep. What makes it different is that it is powered by not one but two types of retinol. And together with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, it helps your skin renew itself, improves elasticity and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Sounds good.

I was very taken with the presentation, particularly as the model they used (who has been using Prai products for years) is 49 and could pass for 40. She is pictured below with the founder of Prai products Kathy Kangas. Check out my insta stories.

Prai skincare is certified cruelty-free and a portion of the sales from its products are directed to animals rights causes.

REVIEW

I did not start straight away as I had other products to test. And, of course, I forgot to take before and after pics. I really like them and yes I see a definite improvement.

We were told at the launch to only use a small amount, in particular with the night cream, using gentle upward strokes from cleavage to chin and not to overly apply.

And that is key. Less is more and if you are too generous it can cause a slight redness as I found. It is retinol, after all. I have to learn not to overdo it with all products.

APPLICATION

  • Use a small amount of the cream.
  • Gently apply in an upward motion towards the chin.
  • Do not over massage.
  • My advice is to start by using every second night until your skin becomes used to the retinol.
  • Remember to use SPF on any exposed areas every day.

CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

I had this review ready to go and then a delivery of a new, smaller (30ml) sparkly version (above) arrived for Christmas. Priced at €30, the Christmas fairy told me that it might just be included in their advent calendar. That is always great value and a wonderful way to try out the best of M&S beauty products.

There is also a Christmas bauble (below) containing both creams priced at €33.

Remember, it is never too early or too late to look after your neck and décolletage.

“Oh the necks. There are chicken necks . There are turkey gobbler necks. There are elephant necks. There are necks with wattles and necks with creases that are on the verge of becoming wattles. There are scrawny necks and fat necks, loose necks and crepey necks, banded necks, wrinkled necks, stringy necks, saggy necks, flabby necks, mottled necks. The neck is a dead giveaway.” – “I feel Bad about my Neck” by Nora Ephron.

Maybe Prai has the answers to help delay all of the above.

Yes it definitely helps and the Prai products are so affordable. I was using a much more expensive neck cream but really the results were no better than with Prai.

This product sounds fabulous! The décolletage requires a delicate, yet effective touch. I love the jazzy packaging. Is it available in the U.S.?

Forgot to post this pic from a few months ago, tak Forgot to post this pic from a few months ago, taken when we could go further than 5k. Wearing all Zara except for old @carl_scarpa boots. How are you coping with the present lockdown? I am reading lots and watching telly and walking. I sympathise with those of you who are homeschooling and trying to work. Not easy. New Year Resolutions are not for me. I just love New Year Resolutions are not for me.
I just love the life I live. Of course I am worried about the Pandemic. Who isn't?
But even though I cannot meet friends, eat out or do many of the 'normal' activities I used to do, I can still walk and enjoy the lovely place I live. Pop over to the blog to see my farewell to 2020.

Happy New Year from Graham and me. A different New Happy New Year from Graham and me. A different New Year's Eve for certain. We are sitting at home watching the telly. But welcoming in 2021 with open arms and hoping that in a few months we can return to a more normal life.

While 2020 was tough, it also made me appreciate (even more) the beautiful place where I live.

2020 also had its highlights: our third grandson arrived a few weeks ago!

Stay positive my friends. Stay safe and
 thank you for your support.

🪥 My new stylish electric toothbrush (gifted) h 🪥 My new stylish electric toothbrush (gifted) has Ionic Brushing Superpowers!

🪥Sounds impressive? It is!

🪥But do not ask me to explain it.Check out @ion.sei for all the science stuff. And learn about the innovative technology used in this German manufactured and Japanese inspired toothbrush.

🪥It has to do with a UV LED light, a titanium bar and negative ions. But it is rather complicated and I am not a science geek.

🪥What I know is that my teeth and gums feel cleaner and are cleaner. Because it actually prevents plaque from forming.

🪥Easy to use (there are 3 brushing modes) and gentle on gums, it turns off after 2 minutes. And delivers minimum 36,000 strokes in that time!!
