This month, my friends and I in ‘Style Not Age’ are featuring anything and everything check.
I love check and have featured many looks over the past few years. You may remember these trousers from Punt Roma, exclusive to Shaws Department Stores. They have got a lot of wear because they are so comfortable. The eagle-eyed among you will see the three-month growth on my gelish nails. A new trend, perhaps?
The trousers below are Zara this year and had their first outing at a physically-distanced BBQ with some friends on Saturday. My bag is a present and the boots are M&S 2019.
I wore the trousers a few times recently. Below I am head-to-toe Zara. The shoes are a few years old and to be honest are not hugely comfortable. The sweater/top you have seen before and I love it, except that my hair keeps getting caught in the beaded bows. The bag is last year’s sale, I think. My hair badly needs a colour and cut as you can see. I have five month’s of grey growth and while I love the silvey grey of many ladies, mine does not look good.
It is so lovely to see friends again. I am not ready yet to visit restaurants or pubs, but GG and I are looking forward to planning a staycation or two in the next few months. Ireland has opened up today and I am hopeful that we can keep the virus under control. It is up to us all to be sensible.
Anyway back to this month’s theme ‘Check Me Out’. Let us check out my friends.
I love Anna’s outfit and might just have to see if I can find find it in the shops. Pop over to her page Anna’s Island Style to see where she picked up this bargain.
Emma over on The Style Splash is also rocking a suit. Where did she get it? And look at those cute accessories.
Gail from Is This Mutton is looking pinktastic in her two-piece. Want to learn more? You know where to find her.
Jacqui opted for a check shirt. See where she purchased on Mumma B Stylish and see the rest of her outfit too.
I hope wherever you are reading this that you are in good spirits and good health. We live in strange times, my friends. Stay safe.

Oh my goodness, how I adore these trousers Hilda. I’m taking a break from shopping at the moment (3 months down, 9 to go) otherwise I’d be heading off to the Zara website right now! I do love them paired with those natural boots too. You’re one cool lady x
Anna that is some commitment. I just love shopping too much, though I have done so little recently… Thank you for your lovely compliment.
I don’t think I have anything with smaller checks! Great looks!
