Hi everyone. Can you believe it is August already? It is true that time goes faster the older I get. We are enjoying warm weather for the past month in Ireland, but we are not thankfully experiencing extremely high temperatures like other countries.
Life is busy, but busy is good. Right? There is definitely no way I am bored. But it is also important that we look after ourselves. Self care is important. And comes in many different guises. Maybe it is a lovely pair of pyjamas that makes us feel fab. Or perhaps it is a face cream. We all like our hair looking good. And who else finds it difficult to find nice glass frames?
Well, it is time for my friends in The Beauty Spotlight team to share some tips with you. I hope you find something of interest. Just click on the links in RED to read more.
My contribution this month is an old post on my 5 tips for staying happy and stress-free. Written a few years ago, it is still relevant. I am still practising yoga, even if it is only ten minutes a day.
THE BEAUTY SPOTLIGHT TEAM SHARES 5 TIPS
If you wear prescription glasses, all of the time, for the computer or for reading, then Lola’s Secret Beauty Blog highly recommends Prada Optical Glasses made in Italy. Here are Lola’s two recent purchases, and they are perfect with her prescription lenses from the optometrist.
Are you a practitioner of yoga? Hilda from Over the Hilda blog decided to take yoga classes before the pandemic, continued online and still practises today. Find out her 5 tips for staying happy and stress-free and how yoga helps!
Natural haircare at its best is what Marcia from Never Say Die Beauty says about Chi Naturals new line of products to make your hair clean, shiny and protected.
Last week, Angie at Your True Self Blog wrote about how to wear pajamas as daywear. This week, she’s following up with advice on how to be sexy yet comfortable in your pajamas. So whether you want to be beautiful wearing pajamas around the house or out on the streets, you never have to sacrifice style and beauty! Age doesn’t matter.
If you’re looking for a multipurpose face and body cream that’s good for all members of the family and all skin types including sensitive skin, you must check out Derma E Vitamin E 12,000 IU Cream, Derma E’s first skincare product launched in 1984. Allison from Never Say Die Beauty thinks it’s still a winner today because it leaves her dry skin feeling like silk!
Thanks for reading. Take some time today and every day for self-care.
