Beauty Spotlight Team Share 5 Tips For Self Care

Hi everyone. Can you believe it is August already? It is true that time goes faster the older I get. We are enjoying warm weather for the past month in Ireland, but we are not thankfully experiencing extremely high temperatures like other countries.

Life is busy, but busy is good. Right? There is definitely no way I am bored. But it is also important that we look after ourselves. Self care is important. And comes in many different guises. Maybe it is a lovely pair of pyjamas that makes us feel fab. Or perhaps it is a face cream. We all like our hair looking good. And who else finds it difficult to find nice glass frames?

Well, it is time for my friends in The Beauty Spotlight team to share some tips with you. I hope you find something of interest. Just click on the links in RED to read more.

My contribution this month is an old post on my 5 tips for staying happy and stress-free. Written a few years ago, it is still relevant. I am still practising yoga, even if it is only ten minutes a day.

    EVERY SINGLE DAY!
    I RECENTLY READ AN ARICLE ON BEING DEPRESSED!I HAVE 7 OUT OF 10 SYMPTOMS!
    I TOO HAVE STARTED YOGA IN MY CLOSET!ITS BIG ENOUGH! 10 MINUTES A DAY!I DO MY BREATHING EXERCISES TOO………..I DO FEEL BETTER!!
    IAM NOT GETTING OUT ENOUGH TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE AND I THINK THATS MY MAIN PROBLEM.ALSO THE BLOGS I READ THE WOMEN KEEP BUYIG THINGS!I HAVE BEEN THERE DONE THAT AND NEED NO MORE!AT 62 THE HOUSE IS DONE. I HAVE ENOUGH CLOTHES FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.SO NO SHOPPING AND NO SOCIALIZING WOULD BRING ON DEPRESSION!!!

Denim....but not jeans! This was our March challen Denim....but not jeans! This was our March challenge for 'Style Not Age'. Ok I cheated and did double denim. But nothing else looked right on me with the oversized jacket. Borrowed sunnies from @courtneysmithstyle who also took the pic. I decided that oversized denim was not for me so back to @primark with it. 
Good to experiment though and not get stuck in a rut!
