‘Orange you glad it’s Halloween?’ Jacqui chose this month’s ‘Style Not Age’ prompt and thinking of pumpkins opted for orange.
It is one of my favourite colours, though the deeper shades suit me better. In fact, I have written several posts about how much I love the colour and how wearing it makes me happy. I decided to dig out a very old coat; it must be twenty-five years old at least.
Though I have been encouraged to part with it, I demur because wearing it cheers me up. You can see the colour is definitely more of an orange/red. Shining brightly, I even wore it to the playground with one of my grandsons last week.
The brand is OUI. Have any of you seen it around? It used to be in many boutiques years ago, but I never see it now. Look at the sun shining on it below.
The boots are several years old and from local boutique Paula’s of Malahide. And how I love that hat from Anthony Peto, Dublin. And the bag is Michael Kors.
Gail has gone into full Halloween mode. Love those tights. Gail has a fabulous collection of tights (and footwear generally), and you can find out more on Is This Mutton.
Emma’s dress was a bargain. You need to pop over to her post at The Style Splash to see where she bagged it.
Anna has chosen to showcase the most sensational trench in orange. You can find out more on Anna’s Island Style.
Jacqui is wearing a retro ’70s-style dress. I love the print too. Mummabstylish is where you can learn where she found it. And her new heels make her very happy also.
Hope you enjoyed our orange offerings this month. Happy Halloween to you all.
