Jumpsuit June with ‘Style Not Age’

It was my turn to choose the theme for this month’s ‘Style Not Age’. And I have jumpsuits on the brain. So a little bit of alliteration to make it ‘Jumpsuit June’, which I thought would make it easy for us all.

Jumpsuits are having a moment, aren’t they? But they are not always easy to wear. First of all, they have to be easy to get off. I mean to go to the loo, of course. I had a bad experience at Marie and Hugh’s wedding many years ago where poor GG had to accompany me to the ‘ladies’ every time I needed to go, so that he could pull down the zip at the back! I just could not reach it and I was a lot more supple then.

But I learned my lesson and have only bought ‘toilet-friendly’ jumpsuits since then.

WHISTLES JUMPSUIT

I have been wearing my Whistles jumpsuit gifted by JD Williams a lot recently. I think I told you that I was featured in ‘Good Housekeeping’ online and they sent me a gorgeous dress and jumpsuit. When I was at a recent L’Oreal event in The Baths in Clontarf, I got some fab pics taken. I was going to keep the pics for this, but I could not wait to put them up on Instagram. Here is one for your perusal. Love this jumpsuit…perfect for holidays, too. And it has buttons down the front, so toilet-friendly! Oh and the bag is from Absolutely Patsy.

So I thought I would bring back out an old Coast jumpsuit for the purpose of the challenge. I wore this to a pre-wedding party last week. It was a most beautiful evening on a terrace in the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire.

The light was beautiful and kind to older faces! I love that golden hour.

And I have worn this jumpsuit a lot over the years. Yes, it is a keeper.  And  the zip is at the side making it toilet-friendly. See the pics below.

Anna is wearing an Onjenu jumpsuit. I absolutely love this label.  First of all, it is so easy to wear and all of their pieces make a real statement with their vibrant colours and prints.
