I love leather: real leather, faux leather, I love it all. So lovely leather is my choice of prompt for this month’s ‘Style Not Age’. And I decided to feature my Italian-leather cream coat purchased in Oxfam in Malahide. I saw it in the window and popped straight in to put my name on it. It has been worn on numerous occasions already and is much admired. I am really getting better at vintage/second-hand shopping. As we say, I shopped my wardrobe for the rest of the outfit. Everything is years old.

Poor Anna has been through the wars recently and has been off work for the past three weeks after some minor surgery to remove skin cancer went wrong. And is only now getting her energy back. In Dublin, we had two weeks of grey skies and drizzly rain. When I woke to a blue sky last Saturday, I felt euphoric and skipped out of the house for a lovely walk in the sunshine with a friend. It is the simple things that give me joy.
