Anna chose Summer Whites as this month’s theme. And we have had weeks of fabulous summer weather in Ireland so plenty of opportunities to wear white and not risk getting it muddy! But guess what, it started to rain at the weekend and even though I had worn this exact outfit a week ago, I had forgotten to get a photo of it. So I am pulling one from the archives, well last July to be exact.
The white denim skirt was bought last year in Cos and paired with a really old shirt from Topshop. Sandals are last year’s from Clarks. As I sit here writing this, one half of the sky is bright blue and the other half a thunderstorm black. Rain is on the way. The sky is quite dramatic in the photo below also.
I mislaid my lovely red sunglasses (above) at a wedding last month and I am raging with myself. I hope whoever found them loves them as much as I did.
Anyway, here are my friends from ‘Style Not Age’ in their summer whites.
Firstly, Anna has topped off her whites with a colourful kimono and equally snazzy footwear. The blue sky and sea adds the perfect backdrop for her outfit. Check out Anna on AnnasIslandStyle and see what life has been like on the island of Tresco recently.
Jacqui looks exquisite in a beautiful white maxi dress and jacket (below). I love the gold shoes peeping out underneath. You can find out more by popping over to Mummabstylish.
Finally, Emma is wearing a lacy number which she got from a collaboration with Pretty Little Thing. And she will tell you more over on The Style Splash.
So summer weather has disappeared for the moment in Ireland, but I am optimistic it will return soon. I hope that wherever you are, life is good. It is busy here in Malahide and I do not know where the time goes.
Thank you for reading, as always.
