Festival Fashion is a thing. I love how musical festival-goers wear clothes that are appropriate to the music and performer. Festival outfits go way beyond dressing for the weather, but are a form of self-expression and are nearly as important as the music in many ways.
You can tell that I am not attending a music festival. In fact, I am not going anywhere, not even to a theatre or literary festival. This is a normal everyday look for me.
I shopped my wardrobe. The linen shirt is old from H&M: in fact everything is a few years old. The bag is borrowed from my daughter and if I was off to a festival I would definitely have to take care of it.

STYLE NOT AGE
Emma’s festival outfit is made up of an embellished denim jacket bought at Beyond Retro in London. Sequin trousers are from River Island and a silver vest from Zara. The crossbody bag is by Fenella Smith (Vinted) and she is wearing silver Adidas trainers. Emma looks ready for partying all weekend. Pop on over to Style Splash.

Anna’s festival look is all from Vinted. Isn’t it fabulously colourful? Check out Anna’s Island Style.

Jacqui is definitely festival ready. Her skirt and scarf are from Primark, top from F & F, boots previous gift from Hotter Shoes, belt a Christmas present, bag also a Christmas present from Ted Baker and hat was acquired from her son! You can find out more on Mummabstylish.

My offering this month is less than adequate. But I have lost a dear, much-loved friend. We buried her yesterday and I have been distracted.
Thank you for reading.
Live every moment as if it were your last.

I love the classic jeans and striped shirt! It’s the perfect outfit for small, laid back festivals like the ones we have in our little town. Hope you’re having a good weekend!
