Hello, my friends. I am back writing on the blog again following a break. I have lots of interesting stuff to share this year and I am starting with my friends at ‘Style Not Age’. We will be sharing our ‘Joyful January’ outfits. Well, January began with sunshine and cold, but bright days. However, this past week or so has been horrific with wind and rain, requiring heavy coats, hats and gloves.
My ‘Joyful January’ outfit is casual. I absolutely adore my Lennon and Courtney bag which I bought in Kilkenny Design. It really does bring me joy. It has a 70s’ vibe and makes me feel free and young! I fell in love with barrel jeans about two years ago, because they are so versatile. I can play with the younger grandchildren on the floor, chase after the older ones and then go meet a friend for a coffee or casual lunch. And I feel appropriately dressed and, yes, comfortable.
My jeans are Cos, jumper Whistles, my jacket is Zara and runners are New Balance; all shopped from my wardrobe.

Anna from Anna’s Island Style is also casual but her outfit is topped with a beautiful faux fur jacket. It is the perfect outfit for January. Follow Anna for fashion art and fun style from The Scilly Isles.

Jacqui is just back from a skiing holiday and you can find her on Mummabstylish. I would imagine she found lots of joy on those ski slopes.

Emma is the epitome of joy in her vibrant colours and that bag with the smiley face reinforces it. And pop on over to The Style Splash for lots more colour.

So my friends, where has January gone? We are nearly in February and it feels like Christmas was only a week ago. I am in the last year of my 60s and turn 70 in December so I am determined to take my health and fitness up a notch this year. I have been to the doctor at the beginning of the month and while my bloods showed nothing to worry about, I do have a few issues to address. So follow along. More to come here and on Facebook and Instagram.
Thanks for reading. Chat again very soon.
