Hello, my friends.
Even though the weather is still variable, there are definite signs of Spring. Daffodils are fluttering in the breeze and cherry blossoms brighten our neighbourhoods.
I am ready for the brighter days and with the start of ‘Summer Time’ here in Ireland, brighter evenings also. This month, Jacqui has selected the theme ‘Pastels for Spring’ and boy they are everywhere. Avoca Ireland presented their Spring/Summer 2026 Showcase last week and and certainly pastels dominated the catwalk. The event was held in the polytunnels at their Kilmacanogue branch and it was the perfect venue. You can find some of the photos from the show on my Instagram and Facebook posts.
My pic was taken there and I was happy that I wore my pastel twin-set, a present from my stylist daughter. She bought it on Vinted. The jeans from Frame are a few years old.

‘STYLE NOT AGE’ FRIENDS
Jacqui has a lovely dress and cardigan from Cotton Traders and is certainly ready to embrace the warmer weather. You can check her out over on Mummabstylish.

Doesn’t Anna look very Springlike in her pastels? I love the yellow cardi and printed pants combo. Pop on over to Anna’s Island Style to learn more.

Emma has also favoured pink and I just love the combination of colours in her cardigan. And you know where you can learn more about Emma’s outfit? Yes, over on Style Splash.

So here we are. Easter is less than a week away and it is time to put away the muted colours of winter and get out our pastels for Spring. I hope you have a lovely Easter.
Thank you for reading.
Hilda
