As I write this, I am in Key West, Florida, where Autumn/Fall does not happen. The sun is shining, it is 28 degrees and the last thing on my mind is Autumn. But, by the time you read this, I will be back in Ireland and it will be a lot cooler!
I thought of the theme a month ago when the leaves were changing colour. Autumn is my favourite season as I love wrapping up in cosy knits and wearing hats and scarves. Plus, autumnal tones suit my colouring, according to colour analyst and consultant Maria Macklin.
So, here are my pics taken about three weeks ago. I think I may have missed the lovely orange colours which come later. The only new item here is my orangey red scarf from the Frnch label. Everything else is shopped from my wardrobe. You can see I am expecting cold weather. My boots always get many comments and they are from Clarks and are my number one footwear brand for comfort and style.

So, we are heading into December. Autumn is officially over and the Christmas trees and lights are starting to dominate. I won’t be ditching my autumn colours though, I will try to sparkle in my own way.

I love your chunky scarf and boots! I hope you had a fabulous time in Key West – I went in 1996 on a holiday I won in a national newspaper competition! I bet it has changed a lot since then.

I do love your boots: the laces makes them stand out and it is no wonder people comment on them. I love the pop of color with the scarf. I have been wearing a lot of neutrals this week, so next week will be time for some color!
